Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, garlic, and horseradish until smooth. Let sit for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Combine the chicken pieces with two cups of the prepared sauce in a zip-top bag. Seal and refrigerate for at least four hours.
  3. Preheat the grill to high heat (around 450°F), rinse chicken under cold water, and pat dry.
  4. Brush chicken with olive oil and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  5. Grill chicken skin-side down for 2-3 minutes, then flip and grill for another 2 minutes.
  6. Move chicken to a cooler section of the grill; cover and cook for 25-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160-162°F.
  7. Baste the chicken with reserved sauce every 5 minutes during grilling.
  8. Remove from grill and let rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
