Cooking Steps
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it into small pieces until fully browned.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add diced onions and bell peppers, sautéing for 5-6 minutes until soft.
- In a separate saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Whisk in 2 tablespoons of flour and crushed garlic, cooking for 1 minute.
- Gradually pour in 1 cup of creamer while stirring for about 3-4 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and mix in 1 cup of shredded cheese along with ground mustard, salt, and pepper until melted.
- Divide the cooked rice into bowls, followed by the browned ground beef, sautéed vegetables, and drizzle the cheese sauce over the top.
