For Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Salt adjust based on sausage's saltiness
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper or crushed red pepper flakes for heat
Optional Dipping Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Sweet chili sauce or soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing try homemade ranch

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground sausage, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps. Stir in chopped green onions and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Take a wonton wrapper and place a small spoonful of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with a bit of water, then fold to create a triangle and press firmly to seal.
  3. Arrange the sealed wontons on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each. Brush the tops with olive oil. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Once baked, let them cool slightly on a wire rack. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
