Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface to a rectangle of about 10x12 inches.
  4. Spread half the cream cheese filling on the pastry, leaving edges clear, and layer with raspberry preserves.
  5. Repeat with a second puff pastry sheet then stack and cut into strips.
  6. Twist the strips into spirals and place in the muffin cups.
  7. Brush with melted butter if desired and bake for 22-25 minutes until golden.
  8. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
