Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes until edges are slightly translucent.
  4. Cook the bacon slices in a skillet over low heat until crispy, about 10-15 minutes. Crumble once cooked and reserve drippings.
  5. Brush the baked potato slices with the reserved bacon drippings and flip them over.
  6. Return the potato slices to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Add cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon on top. Bake for 5 more minutes until cheese is melted.
