Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook crumbled ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic for 6 to 8 minutes until browned.
  3. Add chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook for around 5 minutes until it starts to wilt.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, cooked rice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and let simmer for another 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and pour beef broth evenly over the top.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture to cover it evenly.
