Ingredients

For the Oats Base
  • 1 cup Fruity Pebbles (or cereal of choice) Feel free to substitute with any preferred cereal for different flavor profiles.
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats Avoid steel-cut oats as they require longer soaking.
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Can be swapped with a non-dairy yogurt for a vegan option.
  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds Adjust amount for desired consistency or omit if not available.
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder Consider omitting or replacing with unflavored powder.
For the Liquid Ingredients
  • 1 cup Milk Choose any milk (dairy or non-dairy) that fits your dietary preferences.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Pure vanilla is best, but imitation options work too.
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup (or honey) Feel free to adjust to your taste.

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Airtight containers or jars

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by pouring your chosen cereal into a bowl and covering it with milk. Stir gently to combine, then cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to infuse.
  2. After the infusion time, grab a fine-mesh strainer over another bowl. Carefully pour the cereal mixture into the strainer to separate the infused milk from the cereal.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the infused cereal milk with rolled oats, chia seeds, Greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
  4. Transfer the blended mixture into airtight containers or jars, sealing them tightly. Place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  5. When ready to enjoy, remove from the fridge, stir, and add optional toppings like fresh fruits or more cereal.
